An Ghaeltacht

Tugtar deis dár micléinn, beag beann ar an leibhéal ar a bhfuil siad, go leor deiseanna le linn na bliana dul chuig an ghaeltacht agus blaiseadh a fháil de na gaeltachtaí trasna na tíre ar feadh 3 no 4 lá. Áiméar iontach na cuairteanna seo d’fhoghlaimeoirí eolas a chur ar na canúintí éagsúla ó bhéal cainteoirí dúchais. Tugann na tuarasanna an- seans daofa atá ag gabhail don Ghaeilge deis maith cuideachta a dhéanamh le gaeilgeoirí, tuigbheáil a fháil agus eolas ar na féidearthachtaí a bhaineann leis an Ghaeilge mar mheán cumarsáide laethúil.

Déantar na turasanna a phleanáil agus a chomhordú leis na costais a choinneáil comh híseal agus is féidir agus cuireann An Droichead bus ar fáil.

Cuirtear an scéal is déanaí agus cibé eolas fá na turasanna Gaeltachta atá beartaithe ar ár suíomh idirlín ar an rannóg An Scéal is Déanaí.

An Ghaeltacht

Throughout the year, we offer all our students, irrespective of level, numerous chances to travel and experience three or four days in one of the Gaeltacht (Irish Speaking) areas across Ireland. These visits present a great opportunity for those learning the language to experience different dialects as spoken by native Irish speakers.  The trips provide the perfect setting to socialise and to learn and develop an understanding of the possibilities offered to those using the language as an everyday discourse.

Each trip is planned and coordinated so as to keep costs to a minimum and transport is provided by An Droichead.

Regular updates and information on upcoming Gaeltacht weekends will be provided online in our Latest News section.
